Bono

This is a Bono stencil I made for one of the teachers at my school. This has much more of a pop look to it with the 2 layers of blue.

Ford

Browning Logo

This one goes out to all the deer hunters. To those people that aren't hunters this is browning gun company. If you look you can see a buck in the black and in the negative space its a doe. Kinda cool what they did with their logo . Very simple stencil. It's just black

Viking Stencil

This here is the vikings logo. I like how this one is very heavy looking wood grain finish and it really added to the look of the vikings stoic look. This one turned out really nice.

Big Greenbay helm

Yet another Green bay packers stencil. This one is different though. as you can see its big. The computer mouse isn't mini its normal sized to give some perspective again. this however is only about half the size of the lions a few posts back

Browning / Compilation

These are some stencils I made in the past. Just recently made the Browning logo. These are all his favorite sports team and the gun he owns is made by browning. So this is how it looks

Big lions

Here I have big Detroit lions logos. These are about 5 times the size of the ones I previously made. if you look You can see that the one on the lower picture and is small is actually the size of a sheet of paper. I hope that gives some perspective.

Simpatico

I took a walnut stain and I put that on the background of the stencil. Then I took sandpaper and went around the edges giving it a warn look special effect type deal. Then I sprayed the stencil onto the board and then I gave simpaticos that for fun and even got a free coffee out of the deal.

Seattle Seahawks

Here is 2 Seattle Seahawks logos. Very simple. 1.White 2. Blue. 3.White 4.Gray 5. Green Very fun stencil

Harley-Davidson

Harley-Davidson. This iconic logo was one of the stencils I did over the weekend. It was made for a huge harley fan I know. He is now looking at making a big one... Keep tuned because I may be making a huge one soon. I did have a little mess up on the "o" and the "P" but other than that it turned out pretty good.

Blackhawks

This is the blackhawks hockey team logo. This has many different colors so it was kinda a complicated stencil. Heres the rundown...
1.Black
2.Yellow
3. Black
4. Green
5. Red
6. Orange
7. White
8. Blue
9. Yellow
All the feathers get complicated because they are all 2 colors and so I simplified it some that I didnt have to do 15+ stencils... I made the ruffles in the feathers a little open so that I didn't have to cover it up/ repaint it. The whole process took a while but with all the colors really show through.

Johnny Cash

This is a Johnny Cash stencil. I did a 3 layer stencil the black, gray and white. I was based off a picture that was based off a picture of Johnny cash. Hard to explain but it was a simplified picture of Johnny off the Original picture so I used that one. This is the final product.

Bible map

This is yet another bible project. The background for the ocean is a mixture of white and blue and I blended them together. Then I decided to be a little different and instead of doing green I did brown. Which I don't know how I feel about it. It gives it a different look but hard to see writing. Anyway this is another one of those big stencils... 3 pages by 2 pages. Then I trimmed the sides up and put the places on it. If I had a little more daylight I would have also added some shading into the land like hinds of mountains but I didn't and so this is the final product.

Detroit Pistons

This here was another request. I did this over the weekend and it turned out very nice. Now I can say I have yet another Detroit sports team done. I am running out of professional teams. But this was a fairly easy stencil. 4 layers. Blue, White, Red, Blue again. I think it turned out nice though.

Pokémon

On the top is Wartortle. This is the evolved version of squirtle. This is Mr. Sportels pokemon name. Then on the bottom we have Venusaur. I like to refer to it as Venusaurous... thats just my opinion. Anyway I got a request to make these and I did. These are the final outcomes. I wish I had an updated picture of the venusaur. I spent time and I cut it out but I don't have that picture. That is what I have for pokemon so far.

Michigan States helmets.

It cracks me up because as soon as I finished the Michigan helmets I got a request to make the State helms. So these go out to the people who can't stand Blue and yellow. I have to say that these turned out very nice and crisp. I love rivalries

Michigan Helmets

I got a request to make the Michigan helmets so I made 1. Then I remembered that I know another guy who wanted a Michigan related thing. I ended up making 2. So this one goes out to all those people who can't stand the white and green. As my friend all say "you can't get green without blue and yellow. Only 20 more and I would have a team.

Laptop Cases

Our school gives us a Macbook Pro to use during the school year. I bought a case because apple has an all aluminum shell and it dents very easily. I thought my case looked boring. I decided to jazz it up with a little spray paint. I took one of my favorite bands "The Beatles" and I painted it on there. I then showed my friends and a few liked it enough that they wanted there own cases with special bands and logos. So ths bottom image is my case. the one in the middle is G-Eazy and the top is still coming in. The one on top will be Batman that I also did. Seems that Black case and white paint make a good blend.

Son of Anarchy logo

This is the Sons of Anarchy logo. I got a request to make it. Took about 7 stencils. I will go in order of layers.
1. Black
2. White
3. Black
4. White
5. Black.
6. Gray
7. Red
This was a fun one to do. each stencil had its difficulties because this logo has very detailed white and black lines. thats why I had so many layers to make it have more depth. Took about 2 hours in total to cut the stencils and paint it all.

Detroit Tigers

This was a very fun one to do. It was another stencil much like sons of anarchy one. Heres the break down.
1. Blue
2. White
3. Blue
4. Orange
5. White
6. Blue
In case your wondering how this works. 1. Is the base color blue. 2. Takes white an essentially whips out all the blue except around the edges 3. We bring that blue back. You might think this is a waste of paint but its much more efficient. I don't have to sit and tape off the blue that I want to preserve. Instead I just reapply it. 4. Orange layer. Everyting orange was 1 stencil and took a very long time to cut out due to all the small lines. 5. White on the face and paws. This is the same thing. as 1 and 3. I reapply it where I want it. and then 6 is blue once again. just on the face above the eyes. This again is a lot easier than trying to tape that off and paint.

Freehand Spray Painted Planet Scene

 Close up of the planet.
Close up of the planet #2
This here is my first attempt at free handed spray painting. This may look hard but I learned this all from youtube. It is easy in the break down. First you put your base colors for the planets down. Once you have that done take out waxy magazine paper. make creases in the paper and spread it ontop of the planet. When you peel off the paper it leaves small grooves making it look space like. Next I placed a jar over top it to make a nice circle. Once thats down go crazy with colors different colors add depth but black is key. that gives it the space look. Then flick white paint overtop to make stars. Once all that was done I sprayed a lot of black on top and thats about all there is to it.

Spray Painted Vinyl

Spray painted T-Shaw's logo onto a vinyl record.
This hear is going old school. I went over to Good will because I have no other clue of where to get cheap records that I can spray paint on. Low and behold I found a vinyl record for $.50 Thrift shops are great. Next I got T-shaws logo and cut it out. then I simply put down the red then black overtop the red. I think it was a cool idea to do a vinyl record because of the whole DJ thing. DJ's and records go together pretty well. I was a little scared at first because I didn't think that the paint would stick to the vinyl. Clearly as you can see in the picture it did.

Titleist

I just recently got into golf. I decided I needed to paint a logo for golf so I just figured start with something easy. So this is my easy stencil of titleist. I'm sure that Taylormade, Cobra, and Ping will come soon but I just put this up to show what I been up to lately.

Hope College

I know a lot of people who go to hope college. This was one of my fun free time stencil. Pretty basic stencil I did a base orange then blue and the orange overtop. I then took it and cut it out. This was the picture of the un-cut product. HOPE COLLEGE!

Michigan State.

I will be honest. I am not a State fan or a Michigan fan. This was a challenge stencil. I took this project on as a challenge. I got a request for was a HUGE Michigan States helm. So I took a piece of ply board 40" by 30" then printed of 9 sheets of paper. Taking all 9 sheets and taping them in a 3 X 3 (33" x 25.5"). Then I cut it out. Once all cut out I then sprayed a base color of green. After giving the green about 5 minutes of drying time I sprinkled white overtop. giving it both colors of Michigan State. It was a very fun challenge I must say.

School assignment spray painted.

This was a school assignment. In which we had to represent a word, I spray painted a calendar in the background to show that it should be regularly or daily.

Table Project

I spent my summer creating this table. It took about 2 months to make my sketch of a table into a reality. In cutting stencils it took 10 hours alone. Then I sprayed all the stencils over the coarse of 2 weeks. This is my picture journal of the whole process.

The canvas

All stencils that were used. not cut out.

Graphing out the table and where things will go. Lot of things got pulled out and/or changed through the process.

Final Product

I'd like to give a little run down of whats happening in all these pictures. if you start at the top I will number it by the picture it is. In the very first picture is "the canvas" with the help of my friend we created a CAD drawing of this and brought it to my friend who is able to use the large CNC machine. We cut out a huge slab of wood into this shape. From there I took it on myself. I sanded the whole top layer of the wood to be able to paint it. The 2nd picture is a picture of all the stencils I used. I had double and triples of every single paper. In total I printed at least 150 pages of stencils. I spend roughly 10 hours cutting everything out. From there everything got easier. I took it in chunks. My goal was 4 stencils per day. As you scroll through you can see somedays I got 4 somedays I got more/less. To set up each stencil took about 25 minutes. I would spray an adhesive on the stencil and align it onto the table top. Then make marks so I could set the next one on top if it where a multi-layered stencil. After it was set I would place blankets over top the rest of the table so I minimized the amount of overspray. Once everything was in place I spray-painted the color and peeled everything off. repeat this for every stencil. After all that my brother clear coated it. I then took table legs and put them on. Then ending my project.

Heres the table all labeled if you don't know these bands.
